The power of the herd is determined through its sensitivity, responsiveness and gift of listening. Horses respond to emotional honesty, trustworthiness and an ability to create a connection. This requires herd members to be fully present, as their lives depend on it because they are prey animals.
The skills it takes to create a powerful herd are the same skills needed to create a powerful team. To function optimally, both need a confident leader, clear communication and a mindful awareness of the goals and needs of the group.

Retreats are held at a private ranch, in the middle of the Santa Monica Mountains, in Agoura Hills, California. No riding experience is necessary, as all activities will be done on the ground. We can accommodate up to 50 people.
Retreat fees depend on the level of experience you are looking for, the number of participants and the length of the program. Food and lodging are an additional cost.
Food can be catered by the Four Seasons, a food truck or a local restaurant. There are a number of hotels nearby, ranging from budget (Good Nite Inn) to luxury (Four Seasons).
